Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on the people to overcome the ambiguity overtaking the Covid-19 vaccine. He expressed happiness over the rapid pace of vaccination. He said that India had made history by vaccinating more than 86 lakh people in a single day. He spoke on the radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on the last Sunday of every month.
On Sunday in ‘Mann Ki Baat’, PM Modi spoke to villagers of Duleria, Batul district in Madhya Pradesh. The villagers told him that the ambiguity over the vaccine was being propagated through social media in their village. Responding to this, Modi said villagers not to believe the rumours. He said he had taken two doses of the vaccine. He said his mother was about a hundred years old and she had also taken two doses. And also asked not to believe the propaganda against the vaccine.
He told them not to believe in such rumors and also told everyone to strive hard to get everyone vaccinated. He also said that there are a lot of villages in our country where one hundred percent of people have been vaccinated. He said the Covid-19 threat is still looming and urged people to focus on vaccination and adhere to coronavirus prevention guidelines.
